A note from our friends at MarketWise(ad)

Dear Reader,

Have you ever wished you could see what the price of Nvidia would be a week from now?

Wall Street spends millions trying to figure out the answer.

They calculate prices with super computers…

They fly teams around the world for boots on the ground research…

And hire massive teams of analysts.

A Main Street investor just couldn’t keep up.

Until now.

That’s because a new kind of AI is levelling the playing field.

A new way to use AI is letting main street forecast the price of over 2,334 stocks…

Up to 21 days in the future.

And it’s unlocked a new style of investing that beat out “buy-and-hold” five to one in historical testing.

Best of all, you don’t need to be a hedge fund or a millionaire to do it.

It operates on the same principle that lets storm watchers track hurricanes from their personal computers.

With more accurate results than the most advanced government models in the world.

Only instead of predicting hurricanes… these folks are turning AI’s predictive power to the stock market.

I want to let you test-drive this new AI today for free.

But I also want you to understand exactly how you can use AI to inform all of your own trades moving forward.

That’s why I put together this brief demo showing exactly how this AI works…

How a bizarre MIT-discovered phenomenon makes it VASTLY different from Chat-GPT and more uniquely suited to looking at stocks…

How it forecasts prices to the penny up to 21-days in the future…

And exactly how it could help you grow your account.

See where any stock could land in 21 days – run a free forecast here.

To your wealth,

DraftKings Loss Missed Wall Street. A Prediction Bill Emerges.

Thursday’s after-hours session delivered the clearest accounting yet of what it costs to compete in prediction markets. DraftKings (DKNG) reported a GAAP loss of $0.94 per share for Q3 2026. The shares fell approximately 17% in Friday’s session. That gap is not noise. It is the invoice for a strategy.

What the Quarter Actually Said

Q3 revenue came in at $1.329 billion, up 16% year-over-year. Sports betting revenue rose 31.5% to $783.6 million, while iGaming revenue edged up just 2.1% to $460.9 million. Engagement improved: monthly unique payers grew 13% to 4.1 million, with average revenue per monthly unique payer up 3% to $109. None of that matters much when the loss line runs this wide.

The adjusted EBITDA loss of $316.9 million was well below the year-earlier loss of $126.5 million. New 2026 guidance calls for total adjusted EBITDA of $175 million to $275 million, as Predictions investment now runs $650 million to $700 million. The prior range was $700 million to $900 million. That is a reset of roughly half a billion dollars in one quarter.

The Predictions Bet: Cost Now, Revenue Later

Management’s argument is straightforward, even if the market rejected it on Friday: spend heavily in 2026 to lock in customers, harvest them in 2027.

For 2027, DraftKings forecasts total revenue of $7.35 billion to $7.75 billion, and adjusted EBITDA of $800 million to $1.0 billion. More than 1.6 million customers have engaged with Predictions year-to-date, with the 2026 customer cohort carrying an expected payback period of approximately 20 months. That payback math is the thesis. It is also the risk: if churn proves higher than modeled, the spend does not convert.

The competitive context is real. Kalshi said it saw $2.5 billion in total notional trading volume on the 2026 midterms, up from about $1.3 billion during the 2024 presidential election. Other reporting around the midterms has also emphasized how small politics has become as a share of overall exchange activity as sports products scaled.

What This Means for Flutter

Flutter (FLUT) is not a spectator. Flutter’s CEO Dan Taylor wrote in his shareholder letter that the company continues to see “a limited impact from prediction markets on the betting activity of our existing customer base.” Taylor also said Flutter is “beginning to see an impact on our overall media costs as prediction market operators increase marketing spend,” and that Flutter expects its marketing intensity to continue in 2027 at levels similar to this year. That is FanDuel Predicts absorbing a parallel spending cycle.

Flutter’s own prediction-markets build-out through FanDuel Predicts carries similar spending, so DraftKings’ cost trajectory will shape how the market judges Flutter’s push through the remainder of the year. FLUT stock was already down roughly low-60% year-to-date heading into this week. DKNG’s Friday drop lands on top of that pressure.

Regulatory outcomes could shift the competitive balance quickly. The Senate’s failed procedural vote on the CLARITY Act left prediction market operators without a federal framework, keeping the binary regulatory risk that traders in DKNG and FLUT must price.

Scenario Framework

Bull case: The 20-month customer payback holds, Predictions revenue reaches the high end of management’s 2027 outlook, and adjusted EBITDA reaches the top end of the $800 million to $1.0 billion range. Regulatory action restricting pure-play prediction operators would accelerate this path.

Base case: DraftKings lands near the midpoint of its 2027 outlook, Predictions spending stays near management’s plan, margins recover partially, and the stock stabilizes in a range reflecting an emerging but unproven revenue stream.

Bear case: Churn in the Predictions cohort runs above management’s model, the $650 to $700 million 2026 investment does not convert into the projected 2027 revenue, and further guidance cuts follow in Q1 2027. At that point, annual Predictions spend becomes a drag with no near-term offset, compressing the core EBITDA story simultaneously.

Regulatory outcomes could shift that calculus faster than management’s model assumes. Kalshi’s CFTC filing to introduce margin for institutional participants would structurally expand pure-play operators’ capacity to compete.

Levels and Framework for Active Traders

DKNG has now shed more than 30% year-to-date before Friday’s move. The post-earnings range established overnight becomes the near-term anchor. Watch volume on any attempted recovery: a rally on below-average volume after a loss this wide is a fade candidate, not confirmation. For FLUT, the Flutter “limited impact” statement provides a temporary floor, but the company’s own rising media costs and prediction-market spend keep the fundamental pressure shared.

The core question is not whether prediction markets are growing. CEO Jason Robins has argued that “prediction market operators are having no discernible impact on our Sportsbook business.” The market disagreed with its feet. Disciplined traders do not need to resolve that debate today. They need to know the levels where the resolution becomes tradable, and to size positions with the awareness that regulatory outcomes here remain binary and unpredictable.

Preparation is the edge. The numbers are on the table. Position accordingly.
